Go to Bottom

Here we are from 9/21-30/23 -- Our travels from Glendive, Montana through Madison, Wisconsin.

Deer came and went on the railroad tracks right beside the RV park in Glendive, MT

Looking down the railroad tracks. This looked really cool live!

We stopped on our ride out Makoshika State park at the Ranger station. This is just over a mile from our RV site in Glendive, Montana. The area is really well-known for many, many dinosaur finds. This immitation of a metal Stegosaurus was pretty funny. Since it was an "animal", Gloria felt compelled to try to feed it....

I just stood silently by. Look at the gorgeous weather that day! Still a little cool for riding without a thin jacket, though.

Glad to have Gloria back in the Driver's seat. It's WAY more fun to be Navigator and head-Photo-Taker!

Here's us, at a Rest Stop on the way to Barnesville, Minnesota. We're in the middle of North Dakota somewhere.

The RV park in Barnesville, MN had a "Pea Patch" in the center will a myriad of veggies. We were invited to pick whatever we wished for a delicious salad!

It's Sunday evening, 9/24/23. I got a pretty good shot of the moon through some clouds at our site in Barnesville, Minnesota.

New laptop and printer 9/27/23! It was quite the challnge to get these two fellows strapped down on the back of the scooter, but I made it back from Costco without incident.

Some of the beautiful open spaces on the ride to and from Costco.

Another ride view.

Another.

Haven't seen numbers like this around Seattle for a while!

Now 9/28 I believe -- On my way to Amazon locker took me hrough some pretty neighborhoods.

Another neighborhood view. Leaves are falling here.

Another.

Some beutiful homes out here in the farmland.

It was just fun to stop here.

More farmland.

Our next door neighbor in Madison. I had never seen a Toy-Hauler 5th wheel with TWO porchs before!

The moon around 10 at night, 9/28/23.

We are in Madison, Wisconsin for the annual "Cheese Festival". Delicious!

Their Farmers Market is known as the largest in the country, and totaly surrounds the Capitol building, which is two blocks per side. It claims to be the biggest domed Capitol building outisde of Washington, D.C.

From the top of the steps entering the Capitol Building.

Inside the Capitol Building.

Another view. The architecture in here is pretty impressive.

Gloria and me, just as we were entering the fetival. It's about 1:00 in the afternoon here. Gorgeous day -- A little warm.

Nadine took a class on how to build a cheese board. Her results were impressive -- And delicious! The building where the class was held had some fun props to memorialize the day.

Of course, the evening had to include karaoke!

Another moonrise, or shortly thereafter. This must be about 8 pm on Friday, 9/29/23.

We're on our way to Toledo Ohio on Sunday morning, 10/1/23. Just to show the great weather and he wide open spaces here. More on this in the next update.

We're on Tollways now. These Plazas are very nice inside the facilities. We see that Tesla is well-represented here!
