Here we are from 10/15/23 - 10/31/23 -- Our travels from Lincoln New Hampshire through New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. Our first covered bridge! More on the Kancamaugus. More on the Kancamaugus. This is the entrance to Loon Mountain Resort, just outside of Lincoln, NH before entering the Kancamaugus Highway. Leaving New Hampshire we touched just a bit of Massachusetts. There. And on to New Paltz, New York. And our stay at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Resort just outside of New Paltz New York begins. HUGE trick-or-Treat parade our first night on Saturday, 10/21/23. I bought NINE bags of candy, and we ran out! More Trick-or-Treaters. Again. Again. Again. A view across the grass field from our RV spot on Sunday morning, 10/22/23. Looking north instead of West. That's us. It's still Sunday morning, and the park is now nearly deserted. Remember the parade of candy-collectors, just LAST NIGHT? And again. I'm back out for a ride to New Paltz. This is just outside our Yogi Bear's park. On my way back from New Paltz. This stand of trees was just gorgeous. On our way to Luray, Virginia now. It's Wednesday morning, 10/25/23. It was really nice weather all the way to Luray. A beautiful rest stop along the way. Another view from the rest stop. Still en route to Luray, Virginia. Arrived at "Country Waye RV Park" in Luray, Virginia. This is Thursday morning, 10/26/23. Just thought this shot of leaves and trees was pretty. Leaving the park to come back home. Out of Luray now on Sunday morning 10/29/23. We were on VERY uncomfortably narrow roads for the first 40 miles or so, then it was clear sailing all the way to Virginia Beach. Another view en route to Virginia Beach. Another. Still Sunday 10/29/23. Early afternoon now. Stopped at another beautiful rest stop on the way to Virginia Beach, Virginia. See the Video I made here - A breeze came through and the falling leaves were just "raining" everywhere. Same rest stop, different view. Close to Virginia Beach now. On the beach! The boardwalk here goes for 40 blocks, or just about 2 1/2 miles. We would come back here for lunch tomorrow, Monday 10/30/23, and there would be many more walkers, bicyclists, and joggers.
