Here we are from 11/21/23 - 12/17/23 -- Our travels from Savannah, Georgia through Venice, Florida.

A beautiful morning view from our spot at Grand Oaks RV Resort.

One more from our RV site at Grand Oaks.

Moving toward the exit from the RV park.

Still inside the RV park.

The entrance to the park from Griffin Road is right inside this handsome entry gate.

I'm cruising The Villages now. Just taking some pics of pretty homes.

More in The Villages. I'm about 50 miles northwest of Orlando, Florida.

More in The Villages. Notice the decorative driveway. I found this to be VERY common. Probably close to half of all driveways in some of the communities. Also notice the Open House sign. I stopped and went inside. GORGEUS. They were asking $1.190 Million.

I've stoped at the local largest grocer in the area I bet, Publix. It's no wonder they call The Villages a Golf Cart Community. These are everywhere, and nearly all Villages roads for regular traffic have additional paths for the golf carts.

Another beautiful morning at Grand Oaks RV Resort.

Out for a puppy-walk!

The pool was beuatiful and un-populatd -- Maybe because the Heated part of its description felt like it was mostly driven by ONLY sunshine. And at only about 70 degrees this day, the water was a challenge!

Beautiful sunset on Sunday evening, 12/10/23.

I got off of the bike for a little sight-seeing in The Villages at Lake Sumter Landing. It's a central place in the collection of communities on the East drive of The Villages, which primarily is accessed by driving Morse Blvd.

A little bit more in Lake Sumter Landing. The lake might be about a half mile across, and maybe two miles wide.

And a look down a few streets at Lake Sumter Landing. My guess is there are maybe close to 200 individual businesses along the drive.

Another view of the streets at Lake Sumter Landing. Notie the frequency of golf carts. Some are VERY decorated and handsome!

I didn't note what community this was at The Villages, but this type of community pool is very common. Pretty deserted today because they were doing construction in some of the surrounding buildings.

Another view of this community's pool.

On Wednesday, 12/1/23 I took a ride up to Sarasota from or spot in Venice, Florida. This is at Siesta Beach State Park, just south of central Sarasota.

Another view of Siesta Beach State Park.

Another view of Siesta Beach State Park. This fellow let me get about 4 feet away from him to take this shot!

Since I was already in Sarasota, I decided to go and take pictures of the house we owned from 2003 to 2005. I think it's been painted since we sold it in 2005, but otherwise looks as lovely as it did then!

Another view of our old house.

And one more.
